So I told you I would blog about my fraternity’s success in Miami. I lied.

Our Public Relations chair, Mike Jones, has been working on a press release, and I got to see version 1 - I figured it could od most of the talking!

Theta-Psi Chapter Receives Founders Award of Chapter Excellence (FACE):

The Founders Award of Chapter Excellence (“FACE”) is the benchmark award in the Kappa Sigma Fraternity. The FACE recognizes outstanding chapter management, achievement, and program development in all areas of operation. Receiving FACE places the Theta-Psi Chapter as one of the top 17 chapters in the nation.

Theta-Psi Chapter Receives Outstanding Communication Award

The Outstanding Communications Award is given to chapters with effective communications both internally and externally. The Theta-Psi Chapter was recognized for excellence in internal and external communications, campus and community communications, and alumni relations.

Brother Jeff Riles Receives Outstanding Vice-President of Public Affairs Award

Jeff Riles, Vice-President of Public Affairs for the 2006-2007 school year, was recognized for his outstanding performance achieved while holding that position.

Brother Tyler Morrissey Receives Area 4 Undergraduate Brother of the Year

Tyler Morrissey was recognized as Area 4 Undergraduate Brother of the Year for exemplifying the Star and Crescent and showing commitment and dedication not only to the Theta-Psi Chapter but also to OCU and the community.

Theta-Psi Chapter Receives Champion Quest

The Theta-Psi Chapter was recognized as a Champion Quest Chapter for it’s effort in the area of recruitment.
