Just read an entry by Scoble where he casually mentions that “Facebook is the new business card” and I couldn’t help but think of how true that statement is.
I’ve been using Facebook for about 3 years - I signed up the day that Facebook opened it up to the University of Oklahoma. Networking and connecting with people at college will never be the same since Facebook. I can’t think of the times where I’ve been in a meeting, party, or grocery store and the ending line of the conversation is “Hey, Facebook me.” Yes, Facebook is a verb.
It already is the business card of the college people, its nice to see everyone else getting on the bandwagon.
