Wow, this is huge! About the only complaint that most people had about Gmail was the lack of IMAP access. Sure, POP3 is ok, but IMAP access makes Gmail an universal option for everyone. IMAP allows you to store all of your mail on the server and it keeps read status across all of your IMAP devices.
